Vegetables Availability (grams/capita/day)

Here is an infographic that would turn the popular perception by 180 degree. The per capita vegetable availability is on the downhill in the west. It is on the rapid growth in India. This is something that the likes of Global Hunger Index (GHI) would not tell the world.

This is dedicated to millions of farmers in India who toil every day -all the seasons- to produce nutritious and affordable vegetables.

The data and the narrative in this should make our National Institute of Nutrition (NIN, an ICMR body) in Hyderabad not to vilify Indian vegetable growers and vegetables. See here 👇
